Required for platform access
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Zoopito Livestock Management Platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Platform.
Binding Agreement
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Zoopito Technologies Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). Your use of the Platform indicates your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
For Organizations
If you're accessing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Multiple Users
Each user must accept these Terms individually. Shared accounts are prohibited except for family farms with explicit permission.
2. Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

| Animal Data | Information about livestock including photos, health records, and ownership details |
| Content | All data, text, images, photos, and other materials uploaded to the Platform |
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account.
Account Responsibilities

Prohibited Activities
- Creating multiple accounts for the same individual
- Sharing account credentials with others
- Using false identity or impersonating others
- Creating accounts for non-existent farmers or animals
For Veterinarians
- Must provide valid veterinary license number
- Service area must be accurately defined
- Must maintain accurate vaccination records
For Sales Executives
- Must capture clear, accurate animal photos
- GPS location must be enabled during registration
- Must obtain farmer consent before registration
4. Platform Usage
Permitted Use
The Platform is designed for legitimate livestock management purposes:

Registering farmers and animals with accurate information
Health Tracking
Recording vaccinations and medical treatments
Analytics
Generating reports for government and research purposes
Communication
Coordinating between farmers and veterinarians
Prohibited Uses
Illegal Activities
Using platform for unauthorized livestock trading or smuggling
False Data
Entering fake farmer or animal information
Animal Cruelty
Documenting or promoting animal abuse
Commercial Use
Reselling platform access or data without authorization
Field Usage Guidelines
During Farmer Visits
- Obtain explicit consent before taking photographs
- Respect cultural and religious sensitivities
- Explain data usage clearly in local language
Animal Photography
- Ensure animal safety during photo sessions
- Capture all required angles (front, back, left, right)
- Use good lighting for clear identification
5. Data Management
Data Ownership
Farmers retain ownership of their personal data and animal information. Zoopito acts as a data processor, providing storage, management, and analysis services. You grant us a license to use your data only for providing Platform services and as described in our Privacy Policy.
Data Accuracy & Responsibility
Accuracy Requirement
You are responsible for ensuring all data entered is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. This includes farmer details, animal information, and vaccination records.
Photo Guidelines
Animal photographs must be clear, properly lit, and show the actual animal. Do not upload stock photos, edited images, or pictures of other animals.

Future Monetization
As stated in our vision, data is Zoopito's main long-term asset. We may monetize aggregated data through partnerships, while always protecting individual farmer privacy as per our Privacy Policy.
Data Export Rights
Farmer Rights
Farmers can request export of their data in Excel/CSV format at any time through their dashboard or by contacting support.
Administrator Rights
Administrators can export data with filters (date-wise, village-wise, animal-wise) for government reports and impact studies.
6. Intellectual Property
Platform IP
Owned by Zoopito
- Software code, algorithms, and platform design
- Zoopito name, logo, and brand elements
- Dashboard designs and user interface
- AI models trained on aggregated data
User Content
Owned by users
- Animal photographs uploaded by users
- Farmer and animal registration data
- Vaccination and health records
- Location data and farm details
License Grant
By uploading content to the Platform, you grant Zoopito a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and analyze your data for the purpose of providing Platform services, improving our algorithms, and creating aggregated insights as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Termination
Termination Rights
By Zoopito
- Violation of these Terms
- Illegal or fraudulent activities
- Extended account inactivity (12+ months)
By User
- Request account deletion anytime
- Stop using platform and request data deletion
Data Retention After Termination
Upon account termination, we will retain your data for the periods specified in our Privacy Policy for legal compliance and aggregated analytics. You may request immediate deletion of personal data, except where retention is required by law.
8. Liability & Warranty
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Data entered by users is accurate or complete
- The Platform will prevent animal diseases or health issues
Limitation of Liability
Indirect Damages
Zoopito shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Platform.
Maximum Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Veterinary Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Zoopito is a data management platform, not a veterinary service provider.
- Always consult qualified veterinarians for animal health decisions
- Platform data should supplement, not replace professional advice
- Vaccination reminders are for information only, not medical advice
9. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
Jurisdiction and dispute process
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
Dispute Process
Before filing any legal action, parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation for at least 30 days.
Farmer Grievance Redressal
For farmers with limited digital access, we provide alternative dispute resolution:

10. Updates to Terms
Modification Rights
We may update these Terms
30-Day Notice
We will provide at least 30 days' notice before implementing material changes to these Terms.
Notification Methods
Registered users will receive email notifications. All users will see in-platform notifications and updated terms on our website.
Continued Use
Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
