Getting Started

Welcome to Zoopito! This guide will help you get started with our livestock management platform. Whether you're a farmer, veterinarian, or administrator, Zoopito provides tools to manage animal health records efficiently.

Create Your Account

Sign up with your email and create a password. Choose your role (Farmer, Paravet, or Admin).

Set Up Your Profile

Complete your profile with personal details, contact information, and area of operation.

Add Farmers & Animals

Register farmers in your area and add their animals with complete health records.

Start Vaccination Tracking

Record vaccinations, schedule reminders, and track animal health status in real-time.

Pro Tip: Start with adding a few animals to get familiar with the system. You can always add more later!

Registration

Zoopito supports multiple user roles. Choose the one that fits your needs:

Farmer

Manage your own animals and track their health records.

Paravet

Manage multiple farmers and provide veterinary services.

Admin

Oversee all operations, manage users, and generate reports.

How to Register

  1. Click on the Login button in the top right corner.
  2. Select Sign Up and fill in your details.
  3. Choose your Role (Farmer, Paravet, or Admin).
  4. Verify your email address with the OTP sent to your inbox.
  5. Complete your profile and start using Zoopito!
Security Note: Always use a strong password and never share your login credentials with anyone.

Animal Management

Register and manage all animals in your care. Zoopito makes it easy to track individual animal health records.

Adding a New Animal

  1. Navigate to the Animals section from your dashboard.
  2. Click on Add New Animal.
  3. Fill in the animal details:
    • Type: Cow, Buffalo, Goat, Sheep, etc.
    • Breed: Specify the breed (optional).
    • Age: Enter the age in years/months.
    • Gender: Male, Female, or Unknown.
    • Tag Number: If available, enter the tag ID.
  4. Upload photos of the animal (optional but recommended).
  5. Click Save to register the animal.
Pro Tip: Upload clear photos of the animal from multiple angles for better identification.

Vaccinations

Track vaccinations and ensure your animals stay healthy with automated reminders and schedules.

Recording a Vaccination

  1. Go to the Vaccinations section.
  2. Select the Animal you want to vaccinate.
  3. Choose the Vaccine from the list.
  4. Enter the Date Administered and Next Due Date.
  5. Add any Notes about the vaccination (optional).
  6. Click Save to record the vaccination.

Vaccination Schedule

Zoopito automatically calculates the next due date based on the vaccine type. Common vaccines include:

  • FMD (Foot and Mouth Disease) - Every 6 months
  • HS-BQ (Hemorrhagic Septicemia & Black Quarter) - Pre-monsoon
  • PPR (Peste des Petits Ruminants) - Annual
  • Deworming - Every 120 days
Reminder: Enable notifications to get alerts when vaccinations are due.

Health Tracking

Monitor the health status of all animals with real-time tracking and alerts.

Health Status Indicators

  • ● Healthy - No health issues detected.
  • ● Under Observation - Minor health concerns.
  • ● Sick - Requires medical attention.
  • ● Critical - Emergency care needed.

Pregnancy Tracking

For female animals, you can track pregnancy status with:

  • Expected delivery date
  • Pregnancy stage (Early/Mid/Late)
  • Number of fetuses
  • Previous pregnancies count

Farmer Management

Manage farmer profiles, track their animals, and monitor vaccination progress.

Farmer Profile

  • Basic Info: Name, mobile number, address, and village.
  • GPS Location: Automatically captured for accurate mapping.
  • Animal Count: Total animals owned by the farmer.
  • Vaccination Status: Overview of pending and completed vaccinations.
Location Tip: Enable GPS access on your device to automatically capture farmer locations.

Reports & Analytics

Generate comprehensive reports to analyze vaccination coverage, health trends, and more.

Available Reports

  • Daily Report: Vaccinations completed today.
  • Weekly Report: Weekly vaccination summary.
  • Monthly Report: Monthly performance metrics.
  • Vaccination Coverage: Percentage of animals vaccinated.
  • Species Breakdown: Distribution of animal types.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I reset my password?

Click on "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your registered email address and follow the instructions sent to your inbox.

Q: Can I access Zoopito offline?

Yes! Zoopito is designed with offline-first capabilities. Data is stored locally and synced automatically when you're back online.

Q: How do I add multiple animals at once?

Use the Bulk Registration feature. Go to Animals → Bulk Add, fill in common details, and add multiple animals in one go.

Q: Is my data secure?

Absolutely! We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. Your data is stored securely and only accessible to authorized users.
